Plato’s family insisted that he should be a good politician, but their son was not at all keen on the idea. Plato’s realities and dreams about his own life were different. He was constantly writing, reading, researching. He wanted to write tragedies and adapt them to theater.

One day they met a middle-aged man on the road, an old man who would touch a part of his life, Socrates himself. Socrates’ teachings and views on life really influenced Plato. In 399 BC Socrates was sentenced to death. He was convicted of the crime of influencing and destroying people in a bad way. This also had a bad influence on Plato. And a huge fire of hatred and resentment was born in him for Socrates and his teachings. After Socrates dies, he embarks on a journey to gain new experiences and life experiences.

But this idea was not something that would happen so quickly, there were those who opposed it. After this disappointment, Plato returns to his hometown, Athens. He founded an Academy to educate people. In this academy; mathematics, philosophy, natural sciences, philosophy, astronomy courses were given and the condition to enter this academy was to know mathematics very well. Today there are copies of Plato’s works, unfortunately the originals have not been preserved. But this does not change the fact that Plato was a great philosopher.
